1985 - Tom Pitt and his family move from Beaumont, Texas to Austin. Tom had spent the last eleven years using his B. S. degree in Building Construction (construction science) from Virginia Tech to build a successful custom home building company in Southeast Texas.

1998 - Our customers appreciated the quality homes and reputation for integrity so much they began to request we build their commercial buildings as well. We launched PBC, Inc. and developed an entire team to build a commercial division of Pitt Building Company, Inc. Their first task was a contract for a $1,000,000 remodel of the Georgetown Police station.

2001 - Pitt Building Company, Inc. enters the Parade of Homes at Northshore on Lake Travis and begins building homes over $1 million.

2003- Once again the demand from former customers prompts the beginning of the Pitt Remodeling division headed by third-generation builder, Kenny Harrison. Pitt Remodeling has completed over $750,000 in remodeling projects.

Present - Pitt Building Company, Inc. currently builds houses in the $800,000 to $3,000,000 price range. PBC, Inc. contracts professional offices, neighborhood amenity centers, retail strip centers and masonry perimeter fencing. Pitt Remodeling contracts large additions and remodeling projects.
